Baton Rouge, Louisiana — September 2026 — Baton Rouge track and field athlete Jody Shepard, representing Team USA and U.S. Express Track Club, has returned home from the 2026 World Masters Athletics Championships in Daegu, South Korea, after an outstanding international championship performance.
Shepard earned three World Championship medals in Daegu, including two gold medals, bringing his career total to three World Championship titles and four World Championship medals.

Before traveling to South Korea, Shepard captured two additional national titles at the 2026 USATF Masters Championships:
