2020 Officials Clinics

  • All USATF Certified Officials (2016-2020), your card (6 digit #) will expire after August 2020. Everyone must renew for the next Olympiad Years.
  • Attention: USATF Certified Officials who took the SafeSport Training in 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018 - you have expired. You must retake the training at (www.safesport.org) by March 31, 2020. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Gloria Louis at (337) 962-3009.
  • Individual must attend a clinic, workshop or training within your association.
  • Individual must complete a USATF Membership. You can apply prior to the clinic. The cost is $30.00 a year. The application is online at membership@usatf.org or www.usatf.org. If you have any questions or concerns about membership, please contact Ms. Earlett Buckley at secretary@southern.usatf.org or at (225)-270-3322.
  • Individual must complete their own Background Check ($16 for 2 years) online before or after the clinic: https://usatf.org/safesport/background-screening
  • Individual must complete a Safe Sport Training Course online prior to the clinic or after. Website: https://www.usatf.org/safesport/safesport-training. It is a free training course.
  • The recertification fee is $35.00 per Olympiad Years (4 years). Make all checks payable to USATF Southern Association. This fee is paid at the time of the clinic.
  • Additional information paper work, test reviews, and forms will be provided at the clinic.

USATF, H.S, and NCAA Rules Review, Officials’ Evaluations at National Championships, Duties of Field Referee, Duties of the Running Referee, Duties of an Official, Duties of the Head Official, Why SafeSport?, Why Background Check?, When can I Upgrade?, How Many Test Reviews can I take?
